NOONS began as a creative space and boutique for independent makers in Phoenix, Arizona. After a move to Portugal and a needed pause, it continues as the namesake of a more intimate, hands-on project, adorning garments by hand.

Made by request in 2024 for Esuga, one half of the wife-and-husband team Abaya.

We soon became friends, connecting over a shared love of handicraft, materials, and art.

In May of this year (2025), we completed a beautiful custom-on-custom collaboration—my beadwork applied to their indigo-dyed tops—which should be available this summer.
